Thank You began with a single trumpet stem from an AI generator. It became this. I wanted an afro house Nora En Pure-esque track and to have some energy in it. I think it does, but eye of the beholder and all that.

Yotto and Joris Voorn are two of my favourite artists and when Joris Voorn rolled out his version of Yotto's Walls, I loved it. The trouble is; I couldn't play it. It didn't fit in the sets because it didn't have enough ooomph, enough wallop. So this version, which is actually the second remix I've done, isn't really a remix at all. It's a ... beefing up. New drums, extra sounds, slightly overdriven - you get the idea.

The original is amazing, I strongly encourage you listen and pick it up and you explore the work of both Yotto and Joris.


Walls

I found this short hook from [@emmawho](https://clapcat.s3.dualstack.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/video/take-me-with-you.mp4) who sung a really punchy 80s-style snippet called Take Me With You, and with some tinkering and faffery, it turned into this London Grammer-esque cover. I'd like to think I've done it justice. I think my only regret is there should be more of a drop as Emmawho had created on the second line. Alas.

I enjoy the last 8 bars with the stabbing synth.

I think this song lends itself to a liquid drum and bass remix, so I made one...

This track is a remix of a folk song by Caio Klin. I found the vocal and his version on a popular AI music site. I quite enjoyed what he'd made and he was inviting remixes. Most of the remixes I found were folksy versions; regurgitations of his original work. This, well, it's different and trying to edge it toward danceable. It's very commercial, but look, I remixed Phil Collins once, so I know no bounds to the level of commercialism I will plunge to.

Is it for a nightclub? Err, no. This is for the car after the nightclub perhaps. Or maybe the bath the next day. Either way, loved the big piano stomps and some of the synths later in the track.

Fake Love Story

Looking at the tracklist, this looks sickenly commercial. Something you might hear at Yates' or Chicagos' party bar on a Friday night. Well, yes, but no. It was made for my brother, who at the time celebrated his 40th birthday and the idea was to visit as many eras as possible through his life. It didn't really work like that, but it is eclectic enough. All the tracks are not the originals; not a one. Each one is beefier and housey to at least bring some credibility. Don't get me wrong, it's cheese madness here, but it's not completely cheesy.

I don't like some of the tracks I picked; looking at you Visage and Sting. I don't think they fit. Also, the George Michael accapella isn't in key with the intro - this is because it was two separate tracks pushed together live and only after starting did I realise they didn't really go; alas!
